Hai……Atin balik lagi nih dengan topic baru yaitu PREPOSITION In,on and at.Mungkin ini udah ga asing lagi buat kita,namun pasti diantara reader masih ada yang belum memahami ketentuan – ketentuan saat menggunakan in,on and at.Untuk lebih jelasnya silakan menyimak postinganku kali ini.

Ø  Explain of Preposition in, on , and at
A preposition is a word, which is used to indicate different relations, such as place, time, method, manner, reason and purpose, possession, direction and motion. It is placed before a noun or a pronoun. The most common examples of prepositions in grammar are on, in, beside, etc. These words show location. Prepositions are often used to indicate location in the physical world.
Ø  Definition of Preposition in, on , and at
Prepositions are short words (on, in, to) that usually stand in front of nouns (sometimes also in front of gerund verbs).
Ø  Prepositions typically come before a noun:
For example:
   after class   at home        before Tuesday
   in London   on fire                        with pleasure
Ø  A preposition usually indicates the temporal, spatial or logical relationship of its object to the rest of the sentence.
For example:
    The book is on the table.
    The book is beside the table.
    She read the book during class.

Ø  Use IN before:
Countries and cities : Indonesia,Palanka Raya
- Buildings: a office, a school
- Months: May,October
- Seasons: winter, summer
- Years: 1996,2012
- Times of the day: morning, afternoon, evening – NOT night
Ø  Use ON before:
- Transport: a bike, a bus, train, plane, a ship – NOT car
- A surface: the floor, a table, a shelf, the balcony, the roof, the wall
- Dates: March 1st
- Days: Tuesday, New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day  
Ø  Use AT before:
- The following words: school, home, work, university, the airport, the station, a bus stop, a party, the door, night, the weekend
- Times: 6 o’clock, half past five, 4:45 pm (Hora)
- Festival periods: Christmas, Easter (Festivales)
