PRESENT TENSE


Guys….semoga kalian ga bosan mampir diblogku.Sekarang aku akan membahas tentang PRESENT TENSE.Simak baek2  yah………

      Using Simple present tense in positive, negative and interrogative sentences
      Using Simple present tense in verbal and non verbal sentences
      Using the simple present tense In making recipes or procedures

The simple present is used:
      to express habits, general truths, repeated actions or unchanging situations, emotions and wishes:
I study (habit); I work in office(unchanging situation); London is a large city (general truth)
        to give instructions or directions:
You walk  for two hundred meters, then you turn left.
      to express fixed arrangements, present or future:
Your exam starts at 09.00
Examples:
      For habits
He drinks  tea at breakfast.
She only eats  vegetables
      For repeated actions or events
We catch  the bus every morning.
It rains  every afternoon in the hot season.
They drive  to Monaco every summer.
      For general truths
The Earth revolves around the Sun.
      For instructions or directions
Open
the packet and pour  the contents into hot water.
You take the No.6 bus to Watney and then the No.10 to Bedford.
      For  fixed arrangements
His mother arrives tomorrow.
Our holiday starts on the 26th March

Adverb of Time
o   Always                                
o   Never
o   Every

A.    VERBAL SENTENCE
ü  Affirmative Form
S +V1(-s/-es) +Object

ü  NEGATIVE FORM
S+ do/does+ not+ V1+ object

ü  INTERROGATIVE FORM
Do/does+ S+ V1+ Object?

Ex :
q  She makes her friend always happy
q  They play basketball every Sunday
q  Does He takes some food from refrigerator
Verbs ending in –y: the third person changes the –y to –ies :
       fly → flies, cry → cries
     
       Exception: if there is a vowel before the –y :
       play → plays, pray → prays


  1. Add –es to verbs ending in: -ss, -x, -sh, -ch :
      he passes, she catches, he fixes, it pushes

B.     NON VERBAL SENTACE
ü  AFFIRMATIVE FORM
S+ to be(am/is/are)+ noun/adjective/adverb

ü  NEGATIVE FORM
S+ to be+ not+ noun/adjective/adverb

ü  INTERROGATIVE FORM
To be+ S+ noun/adjective/adverb

Ex :
q  She is a teacher
q  His sister is not doctor
q  Are they students ?

PERFECT TENSE


Okay Guys…I back with a new topic.Sekarang aku bakal nulis tentang PERFECT TENSE.Simak baik – baik ya supaya cepat paham n syukur2 kalo bias langsung mempraktekannya di percakapan sehari-hari.
A.   PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
We use the Present Perfect to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not important. You CANNOT use the Present Perfect with specific time expressions such as: yesterday, one year ago, last week, when I was a child, when I lived in Japan, at that moment, that day, one day, etc. We CAN use the Present Perfect with unspecific expressions such as: ever, never, once, many times, several times, before, so far, already, yet, etc.
Formula  :
 (+) S + have /has + verb III + complement
 (-) S + have/has + not + verb III + …….
 (?) Have/has + S + verb III +  complement
Ex ;
Ø  We have gone to market before sunrise
Ø  She has not made some cake
Ø  Have you read the novel yet?

B.  PAST PERFECT TENSE
To experince an action are done in the past or describe an event that first occurred between two action discussed.
Formula  :
  (+) S  + had  +  Verb II + complement
  (-) S  + had + not + verb II + complement
  (?) Had + S + Verb II + Complement


Ex ;
Ø  You had gone,when your uncle came
Ø  She had slept,when earthquakes
Ø  Had They studied,when holiday?

C.  FUTURE PERFECT TENSE
To express an action started in the past and finished in future soon
Formula :
 (+)S  + Shall/Will  + have  + Verb III + Complement
 (-)S  + Shall/Will  + not + have + Verb III + complement
 (?)  Shall/will  +  S  +  have  + Verb  III  + complement
 Ex :
·         My Father will have bought a new car by next year
·         She will not have taken some picture by the end week
·         Will you have gone to Bali by the end this year

PAST TENSE


Hai readers...setelah sekian lama ga ada posting tulisan baru akhirnya aku balik lagi dengan topik baru.Aku bakal nulis tentang PAST TENSE.Saat kita bercerita atau membicarakan pengalaman masa lalu atau kejadian yang telah berlalu(telah selesai).Saat itulah kita menggunakan past tense.

STANDART COMPETENCY  :
To comprehend and express the meanings of short functional  and simple monolog essay texts in the form of past tense in the daily life context to access knowledge

BASIC COMPETENCY  :
To respond and express the meaning nuance and the rhetorical steps within the short functional  and simple monolog essay texts in the form of  past tense (simple past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense)accurately and fluently in the daily life context to access knowledge


INDICATOR  :
>After having finished the lesson, the student are expected to be able to:
>understand the pattern of past tense
>identify past tense in a certain text
>use past tense in making sentences and telling an event or action.


Simple past is formed for regular verbs by adding –ed to the root of a word. Example: He walked to the store. A negation is produced by adding did not and the verb in its infinitive form. Example: He did not walk to the store. Question sentences are started with did as in Did he walk to the store?


Simple past is used for describing acts that have already been concluded and whose exact time of occurrence is known. Furthermore, simple past is used for retelling successive events. That is why it is commonly used in storytelling

Simple Past Tense is a kind of tense which is used to describe an event or action that happened already in a certain time in  the past
The pattern   : 
(+) Subject + verb II + complement
 (-)  Subject + did not + verb II +         complement
(?)  Did + subject + verb I

Ex   :
v  We went to market last morning.
v  She played computare yesterday.
v  They cooked some food last week.

ADVERBS USED :
yesterday, last night, last week, two days ago, a few  minutes ago, last weekend, last month, last year, in 1984, etc.


Past Continuous Tense is a kind of tense that is used to describe an event or an action which was happening in a certain time in the past
The pattern :  (
+) Subject + was/were +verb-ing+ complement
(-)  Subject + was not/were not+verb-ing+ complement
(?)  was/were+ subject + verb-ing+complement

Ex  ;
ü  We were playing baseball at 7 am
ü  They were making a homework at 9 am last sunday
ü  She was reading a novel at 3 pm last week.


Past Perfect Tense is a kind of tense that is used to describe an action or an event that started in a certain time in the past and completed or finished  till  certain time in the past too; or past perfect tense is used to express an action or an event that had happened before the other event or action happened


 (+) Subject + had+verb III+cmplement
 (-) Subject + had not+ver III+complement
 (?) Had + subject +verb III+complement

eX  :
*      I had cooked before my mother came
*      They had made a cake when I slept
*      He had climbed a tree after His father gone
